De l’autre côté de la frontière

Il y a toujours une certaine tension lorsqu'une ONG ou une organisation bénévole interagit avec le gouvernement. Il y a aussi toujours des différences de pouvoir. Le gouvernement dispose d'un imposant appareil de fonctionnaires capables de résoudre des problèmes complexes et, en face, une organisation bénévole moyenne fait quelque chose de très important grâce à son expérience et à son expertise, c'est-à-dire qu'elle s'adresse à la société à partir de la périphérie. Mais si cette tension n'existe pas, ce n'est pas bien. On s'assoit alors trop dans le fauteuil de l'autre et il n'en sort pas grand-chose. De même, la tension peut être décrite entre la grande réunion des ONG pour le Conseil de l'Europe, qui a lieu deux fois par an à Strasbourg, et le Conseil de l'Europe et le reste de la structure démocratique européenne. Er is altijd een zekere spanning als een NGO of vrijwilligersorganisatie in contact treedt met de overheid. Er zijn ook altijd machtsverschillen. De overheid met een fors apparaat aan ambtenaren die capaciteit hebben om ingewikkelde zaken uit te zoeken en daar tegenover een gemiddelde vrijwilligersorganisatie die vanuit hun ervaring en deskundigheid iets heel belangrijks doen, namelijk de samenleving vanuit de haarvaten aan de orde stellen. Maar als die spanning er niet is ,dan klopt het niet. Dan zit je teveel op elkaars stoel en komt er te weinig uit. Zo ook is de spanning te beschrijven tussen de grote vergadering van NGO’s voor de Raad van Europa die tweemaal per jaar plaatsvindt in Straatsburg en de Raad van Europa en de rest van de Europese democratische structuur .Namens de organisatie European Network Church on the Move doe ik mee

There is always some tension when an NGO or voluntary organisation interacts with the government. There are also always power differences. The government with a hefty apparatus of civil servants who have capacity to sort out complicated issues and opposite to that an average voluntary organisation who do something very important from their experience and expertise, which is to address society from the fringes. EN-RE a téléchargé les rapports finaux des commissions de la Conférence des OING présentés dans L’ordre du jour de la session de Printemps 2024 du Cingo que contient tout le déroulement du programme et pas uniquement les rapports des commissions

EN-RE has downloaded these final reports of the committees of the Conference of INGOs presented in the Agenda of the 2024 Spring session of the INGO Conference and where you can see the complete programme and not just the committees.

During the days May 17, 18 and 19, EN-RE’s Spanish member group Redes Cristianas will hold its VIIIth Spanish Statewide Meeting. And for this occasion it has chosen the following theme: "Inequalities: challenges and proposals".

“El tren a Bruselas Midi, esta vez con el Eurostar, fue muy agradable para variar y llegó bien de tiempo. Después, con mi compañera Sylvie Kempgens, que también desempeña un papel importante en el apoyo a nuestro trabajo en la Red Europea Iglesia por la Libertad desde Bélgica, un tren bastante más lleno y lento hasta Luxemburgo, con cambios y retrasos, pero mucho más barato. El transporte público es gratuito. Así que se puede hacer. Al día siguiente a Estrasburgo para la reunión del CINGO. Se trata de las más de 400 ONG miembros que coasesoran al Consejo de Europa. Ese sistema es único en el mundo.

European Network Church on the Move, met een aanzienlijke vollere en langzamer trein naar Luxemburg met overstap en vertraging maar wel veel goedkoper. Het openbaar vervoer is daar gratis. Het kan dus wel. De volgende dag naar Straatsburg voor de CINGO vergadering. Dat zijn de meer dan 400 aangesloten NGO’s die de Raad van Europa mede adviseren. Dat systeem is uniek in de wereld.
