We are pleased to announce the launch of a dedicated resource page on information on national measures taken to prevent and combat domestic, sexual and gender-based violence, and to mitigate the impact of the COVID 19 pandemic on equality between women and men. This information was compiled following a joint call for information to the Council of Europe Gender Equality Commission and the Committee of the Parties to the Istanbul Convention.
This webpage serves as a platform for inspiration, synergies and exchange of practices, as much as a resource tool for anyone in need of information about what states, but also international organisations, including other bodies of the Council of Europe, as well as civil society are doing to put the protection of women's rights at the heart of the fight against the pandemic.
